Chef and co-owner Jason Hansen built the menu out of an extended backpacking trip through Spain, Portugal and Italy, and it still reads that way. Tapas and pintxos up front, a short list of pastas and large plates behind them, patatas bravas that regulars order without looking at the menu. A neighborhood room on St. Clair since 2019, with port and madeira kept on the drinks list. Hansen and Peter Sebastian have since opened Mario’s and Liliana.
