Twin Cities Pride Festival

Loring Park, Minneapolis

The largest free Pride festival in the country. Four stages, 650+ vendors, food, and the whole community out in the park. No ticket, just show up.

Ashley Rukes GLBT Pride Parade

Down Hennepin Ave to Loring Park

More than 200,000 people line Hennepin for this one. Stake out a spot early, especially anywhere near Loring Park where the route ends and the festival picks up.

Fri June 26, 5–8pm

Pride Youth Night

Loring Park, Minneapolis

Ages 10 to 20, a safe kickoff to the weekend before the main festival opens Saturday morning.

Where to celebrate

The Gay 90’s Downtown Minneapolis The Gay 90’s has been operating in some form on Hennepin Avenue since the 1940s and is one of the largest LGBTQ entertainment complexes in the country. The Saloon Downtown Minneapolis A downtown Minneapolis gay bar that has been a fixture on Hennepin for decades. Town House St. Paul Open since 1969, Town House on University Avenue is the longest continuously-operating gay bar in Minnesota and one of the most historically important LGBTQ spaces in the upper Midwest. 19 Bar Loring Park, Minneapolis A small Loring Park gay bar that has been a quiet community anchor since 1952, making it the oldest continuously-operating gay bar in Minneapolis. LUSH Lounge & Theater Northeast Minneapolis A Northeast LGBTQ entertainment venue with a drag and cabaret programming calendar that runs nearly every night.
